Tromino Zero Adds Low-Cost Passive Seismic Option
Due to increased demand for the Tromino seismograph, EXI has added two Zero units to the rental inventory.
The Tromino Zero is a small, lightweight, 3-channel, all-in-one passive-wave seismograph specifically designed for the dynamic characterization of subsoils. Easy to deploy, the Tromino is an ideal way to gather data for soil stiffness or depth-to-bedrock estimates. It is also available in an active-wave model – the Tromino ENGY – for collection of refraction data via use of a radio trigger. Whether you are determining rippability for a quarry operation or depth of other overburden, this is a great primary or even complementary technique to other geophysical methods.
